The artist allows the abstract and the real to flow into one another, creating an eye in front of an abstract background in which she plays with colors and shapes. The eye seems to bathe in color and light and forms the center of the painting. Colorful warm colors that reflect the lightness and warmth of a summer day characterize the painting.

I purchased one of Karin's first paintings a few years ago. It was a portrait that immediately spoke to me and captivated me. Since then, more of Karin's works have found a place in our home. I think it's great that she experiments, evolves her art, and thus stands out from other artists. With her special works from the HUMAN STRIPES series, she has definitely hit the mark.
