Representing people in their everyday life, their emotions and with the things that surround them is the basis of the collage series. The artist does not create the collage by "gluing" the conventional way. Instead, she paints the individual fragments (everyday objects, surroundings, plants, animals, etc.) into her collage and arranges them around and with the people she depicts in them.

I purchased one of Karin's first paintings a few years ago. It was a portrait that immediately spoke to me and captivated me. Since then, more of Karin's works have found a place in our home.
