COLORFUL was created as a portrait using stripe technique in the artist's studio in Schwäbisch Hall. The completion and removal of the stripes took place as part of an art event in Berlin. Impressions of how the artist makes art alive and tangible and invites people to be part of the work can be seen in the video and the photographs by photographer Jutta Kübler.

I purchased one of Karin's first paintings a few years ago. It was a portrait that immediately spoke to me and captivated me. Since then, more of Karin's works have found a place in our home. I think it's great that she experiments, evolves her art, and thus stands out from other artists. With her special works from the HUMAN STRIPES series, she has definitely hit the mark.
