Artwork: 'IMMERSED IN MYSELF'

"Immersed in Myself" is a deeply personal piece that captures the complexity of emotions with just a few brushstrokes. By blending subtle shades of gray and black with vibrant accents of orange, I create an atmosphere that feels both fragile and powerful. The contemplative gaze of the depicted figure reflects a moment of inner reflection – a dive into one’s own thoughts and feelings.

For me, the true strength of the portrait lies in its ability to leave space for individual interpretation. "What you see is what you feel." Each viewer will find a different emotional resonance in the painting. The reduction to essential shapes and strokes evokes a whole world of feelings that continuously shift, depending on who stands before the painting and observes it.

Gerhard H. Germany

I purchased one of Karin's first paintings a few years ago. It was a portrait that immediately spoke to me and captivated me. Since then, more of Karin's works have found a place in our home. I think it's great that she experiments, evolves her art, and thus stands out from other artists. With her special works from the HUMAN STRIPES series, she has definitely hit the mark. Keep it up and good luck 👍🍀
