Light, energy, hope. 🌟 In the last few days I have felt a real need to create a new LIGHT FIGURE - a work that brings light and positive energy into the world. The artwork shows the asana Padmasana, also known as the lotus position, and stands for everything that we so urgently need right now: warmth, radiance and confidence. 🌞 During the creative process I felt light and hope unfold on the canvas and calm within me. Maybe we can all let a little of this light into our lives and share it with each other. ✨

I purchased one of Karin's first paintings a few years ago. It was a portrait that immediately spoke to me and captivated me. Since then, more of Karin's works have found a place in our home. I think it's great that she experiments, evolves her art, and thus stands out from other artists. With her special works from the HUMAN STRIPES series, she has definitely hit the mark.
