THE VIOLINIST from the Faces series was painted with a brush and acrylic paints. For the portrait, the artist only used 2 colors, anthracite and shell white, as well as a little brown for the pupil. The soul speaks from the eyes, even if only one can be seen in this work, which is why the artist always focuses on them.

I purchased one of Karin's first paintings a few years ago. It was a portrait that immediately spoke to me and captivated me. Since then, more of Karin's works have found a place in our home. I think it's great that she experiments, evolves her art, and thus stands out from other artists. With her special works from the HUMAN STRIPES series, she has definitely hit the mark.
