Karin Döring's preferred motifs are people and their emotions, which inspire her to create her expressive works of art. Strong color contrasts play an important role in her work. She likes to contrast black and white motifs with intense colors and neon colors and with her interpretation of people and portraits she always moves in an embrace of representation and abstraction.

I purchased one of Karin's first paintings a few years ago. It was a portrait that immediately spoke to me and captivated me. Since then, more of Karin's works have found a place in our home. I think it's great that she experiments, evolves her art, and thus stands out from other artists. With her special works from the HUMAN STRIPES series, she has definitely hit the mark.
